For competitive freestyle and freeride skiers, water ramp and trampoline training are essential in order to learn, practice, and qualify back flips, rotations, twists and all off-axis jumps. Expert coaching and correct learning progressions play a key role in advancing skiers from basic aerial, mogul and freeride maneuvers through to the highest skill levels in the sport.
Qualification of all difficult jumps, and documentation by a USSA Level 3 coach, is the requirement before athletes may perform these jumps in USSA competition. Freestyle America coaches map out this process for all athletes, while emphasizing proper technique, skill progression and safety standards. Our coaches utilize the trampolines, water ramps and video review to give athletes individual attention and coaching direction, so they can improve on a daily basis.
Only Freestyle America ramp camp programs, under the direction of Nick Preston, can claim a 20-year history of consecutive summer operations. When it comes to formal acrobatic training, experience counts!
